Project: Black Hills Electric Cooperative's New SHiNE CMS Website

Project Goal: Design and create a brand new, user-friendly, and modern website for Black Hills Electric Cooperative members, enabling them to quickly find the information they need.

Project Scope:
- Collaborated closely with the Black Hills Electric team on the design and development of the website.
- The team leveraged the SHiNE CMS offering, which included assistance with homepage setup and design, migration of up to 25 pages from their existing live website, transfer of all webforms, and help creating templates for quick redesign of the remaining pages on the site.
- Our team was responsible for contributing to the initial 25 pages and providing 1-on-1 training and technical assistance throughout all phases of the website build.
- The Black Hills Electric team, led by Shannan Steele, Jeff Barnes, and Michelle Fischer, independently built out the remaining pages of the website, demonstrating a strong understanding of the system and achieving close alignment with their cooperative branding and goals.

The Black Hills team utilized our SHiNE CMS platform and took advantage of our onboarding services, which included assistance with a homepage refresh and layout design. Our team developed the first 25 pages, and then the Black Hills team, led by Shannan Steele, Jeff Barnes, and Michelle Fischer, demonstrated impressive initiative by using our tutorials and user manuals to build out the remaining pages. This collaborative approach, with the Black Hills team taking ownership of a significant portion of the site's content and structure, resulted in a successful launch, with a build window of just a couple months. The primary goal was to provide Black Hills Electric Cooperative members with a modern, user-friendly experience, enabling them to easily find the information they need. The new website is now live and serving the Black Hills Electric Cooperative community."
